The leadoff single from the debut album is only two weeks old and already it has picked up and award nomination.  "Float On Bye" from the debut album "Chances" has been recognized as a nominee in the Best Dubstep Song category for the 2012 Hollywood In Media Awards.  Not a newcomer to the awards, last year Dustin was nominated for a remix of Kady Z's, "Beautiful Disaster".  The remix was a club version of the original which reached #53 on the Billboard Hot 100 charts.  

The "Chances", album was recently featured in the Indie Spotlight on the frontpage of Mi2n dot com. When asked about the album and recent accolades, Lefholz replied, "It's feels good when your art is recognized". Dustin's production skills have already been noticed by industry DJs and producers to rival the top producers in Electronic Music.  They have been quoted saying nothing but good things about the entire album and single.  Already, "Float On Bye" has been added to rotation at a number of stations across the globe including the UK, France, Austria, New Zealand and France.

Since a child Dustin has been involved in music.  At age 8 he began stepping on stage and singing with his father who is a life long singer and front man.  During the rest of the show you could find him and his brother hanging out with the Front Of House Engineer they referred to as Uncle Mert or out dancing and enjoying the show with concertgoers.  His professional mother made sure he kept his nose in the books and always did everything the best of his ability no matter the cost which is what shaped this driven producer/engineer’s never say die mentality.  

During these years his love of music production and electronics began to fill his thoughts.  Since that time he has been honing his craft, studying under world-class engineers while working along side great musicians from all walks of life.   He has been involved in numerous award winning and nominated releases.  His productions have left some lost on how to categorize his style with it being called Dubstep, Complextro, Complextro Step, Skrillstep, etc.  

Dustin’s, first full-length album, “Chances” was written in his studio that he built from ground up in Nashville, TN.  “Float On Bye” the album’s opening song grabs you with it’s energy while his tasteful melodies holds listeners attention.  All of the productions take the listener on journey through the eyes of this artist showing them how music has influenced him throughout his life.
